Bi-Racial Hair: The Film

This short film was inspired by and features a poem by 13-year-old Zora called Bi-Racial Hair. The film weaves between fictional reenactments, archival footage of the civil rights movement, and Zora’s infamous live spoken word performance, illustrating the struggles youth of mixed color face with identity and social position.
